Talin – it’s been a while since we’ve updated your blog little boy. It’s been a pretty busy spring. Since May, we celebrated your 2nd birthday, we went to Charleston, South Carolina, and we had Aeowyn’s birthday party.
You’re not 2 years old Talin and I have to say – you’ve changed SO much. You’re a wonderful little boy now and so kind and gentle. You have a smile that would lighten up anybody’s face. You’re a great brother to Rohin and to Aeowyn and always are willing to help out around the house. You are now in the midst of potty training and pretty much have the hang of #2 and working on #1. I think that within a month or so – diapers will be a thing of the past (yeahhhh)! You are now working on brushing your own teeth and love to be independent. But you still have a cute habit of liking to sit in the high chair from time to time (but not always). You play so nicely with Rohin and with Aeowyn – you love to hug on her – which is so cute. You also still have a really cute voice – we love to hear you say “noooo”….
You also love books and know almost the end of every sentence in “There’s a Wocket in my Pocket” and still really enjoy Pizza Pat. I think we’re past six sticks finally! You love to play outside and still really enjoy riding the lawn mower. If daddy turns on the lawnmower without you on it – you run across the yard in tears wanting him to pick you up.
In recent news, we had a great birthday party for you Talin. Mommy stayed up all night making cupcakes – which were so yummy. We had the party at JW Tumbles and had almost 30 people there. You had such a great time playing with all of our friends and love tumbles. Everytime we ask you what you want to do today – you say “Tumbles”. We had pizza and juice boxes – and mommy made a very special cake for you!
We also have a great trip to Charleston. We rented a house on the beach in Charleston when we went to Chet uncle’s house. You guys loved playing on the beach and on the little playground there – you were particularly found of a rocking dolphin. You loved playing in the sand but stayed out of the water pretty much. It was a very memorable experience.
You’re still our best and messiest eater Talin. You love to eat – and still have a habit of shoving lots of things in your mouth, leaving them in for long period of time – then letting it all come back out. Not sure if you’re savoring food – but it’s just a cute trait you have. You love to eat foods – even like sales and chip (you actually dip) and can handle spicey foods. You’re still so very cuddly and ask why along with your brother all the time. Your vocabularly has also grown dramatically Talin -- I cannot even kepe up with how many words you know now, You’re so smart, so loveable. I want you and your brothers and sisters to also keep that love for each other and the love for life! The world is an amazing place!
When we came back from the beach, we put together Aeowyn’s birthday party and had a great time (more on Aeowyn’s blog).
July is coming up Talin and you will be starting school for really the first time. You are growing up so so fast – it’s actually scarey. You’re a wonderful little boy and mommy and daddy are so excited to share the year ahead and watching you grow into an equally incredible little boy. We love you Talin.
