Thanksgiving 2010

Talin – you are growing into such a cute little boy. Your ability to speak grows everyday and you’re now saying far more words then probably what mommy and daddy can make out. But you can now say multiple words at one time (Orange Juice) and know how to ask for milk, juice, more and also know how to say Aeowyn’s name (which sounds really cute when you say it). Your favorite word hands-down is ‘yea’. So if we ask – Talin, would you like more milk – you say “yea”. You’re growing so quickly, that now you’ve pretty much grown out of 18m clothing and are wearing 2T.

In the toy department, you also love riding cars (this little red one) and like to play with things that stack or pour. You really love playing in the sink and are still a big fan of brushing your teeth with mommy and daddy’s electric tooth brush. You’re also really getting into books and love Pizza Pat and Six stick still. In fact, it’s really cute how you say pizza pat and six sticks. You also growl when you see a lion or bear in a book. You’re also a great eater Talin and pretty much eat whatever we put down for you. I think you still love green beans and broccoli the best but you also love your waffles and apple jacks in the morning.

The other big news Talin is your potty training. You’re doing GREAT! You sometimes come to mommy and daddy and say potty and are going pooh and pee in the potty. It’s really quite amazing for your age – you’re such a bright little boy.

We had a great Thanksgiving together as a family and went to ammuma and tata’s house. We had guests during that time, including Chris Uncle and Maria Auntie along with their two children Ava and Layla. You really loved playing with Layla – who is about your age. Thanksgiving was so wonderful with about 30 people came for Thanksgiving and it was so nice – all friends and family.

Also, we’re in high gear for Christmas and this past weekend, all of us went and got our Christmas tree. We went to this place that not only had trees but farm animals that they allowed you to feed and pet. So off mommy went to get the tree with Aeowyn and daddy, Rohin and you went to play with the farm animals. You had a great time and loved the billy goats and rabbit but you were offended by the pig who kept on squealing and wanted daddy to pick you up when the chickens came around. We put up the Christmas tree and you Talin have an affinity for pulling on the Christmas tree lights and say “hot”. Daddy also bought a train to go around it, which you and Rohin love – but both of you keep pulling the trains off the track … We cannot wait to celebrate Christmas with you again this year Talin. You’re such a wonderful little boy and like we wrote in your brother and sister’s post – it’s so hard to believe what Christmas was like before mommy and daddy were blessed with you three in our lives.
