December has been a really busy month Talin. We’ve all been getting ready for the holidays and had a wonderful Christmas. You did have another ear infection though and so did Rohin– which was the only downside this past month.
We had a wonderful Christmas this year – the best ever in fact! All of our family was here to celebrate. For Christmas eve, we had dinner at Ammuma and Thatha’s house. Grandma and grandpa and some of your aunts and uncles came over as well. You all had a great time running around the house. You kept running around the house and playing with the big remote control car that Thatha has. You also kept talking on their house phone and pretended to talk. We got home late that night and you fell right to sleep as Santa made his way to our house. On Christmas day, mommy and daddy, grandma and grandpa were here to greet you, Rohin and Aeowyn when you awoke to find all of the presents that Santa had left for you! You really were excited Talin and even opened some of your own gifts this year! For the big gift this year, daddy and mommy bought you and Rohin a John Deere gator – so you and Rohin went out and both drove cars in the backyard in the afternoon. You received many wonderful toys and clothes.
Otherwise Talin, you’re changing so fast. Your language is still getting better and you are using multiple words. You still have this cute high pitched voice – particularly when you say – “right there”. In other news, you’re also learning to sing and sing along to Frosty, Are you sleeping, happy birthday, and the sheepy sheep song. You also love to do what Rohin does. Recently, Rohin bumped into the Christmas tree – so you went and did exactly the same thing. One time Rohin dropped a piece of cheese on the floor by accident – and you dropped yours on purpose and then picked it up. It’s very cute. There was also one really funny story recently where you grabbed a coffee cup from a shelf above you and for some reason poured it on yourself while crying – daddy running over to help you stop pouring all over yourself.
You love to blow out a candle every night after prayers and we finally switched you and Rohin off of milk at night. You’re a great eater Talin and are a big fan of fruits and veggies. Your potty training is really taking off as well Talin. You routinely telling mommy and daddy that you have to go potty – we’re so proud of you! You also still love balls and enjoyed watching a football game the other day with Paka George.
2011 is going to be a great year and it’ mommy and daddy’s absolutely delight to watch you grow into such an awesome little man. You’re such a warm hearted and kind little boy Talin – very cute! So now onto 2011 – you get to start school with your brother Rohin (though in different classes). We’re so proud of you Talin and love you -- Happy new year son!
