Summer is Coming to a Close

Talin -- the theme of your blog could be skid steer.  So daddy went to Baltimore and bought a skid steer online. You all came with me.  Well -- let's just say it was a disaster after the people hauling the skid steer's trailer broke loose and the skid steer fell onto the highway (didn't damage anyone's else's car).  They eventually got the skid steer to our house without any damage -- which was good.  But you're so excited to ride the skid steer -it's pretty much right now to your fascination about chainsawing and weed wacking!  You're so cute. Recently, daddy went out to the garden to hoe and you grabbed your little how and put it over your shoulder like daddy and worked so hard hoe'ing the garden with me --it was adorable.  Thank you for being so helpful Talin.  That's definitely your nature to give a lending hand to people and a skill that will serve you well in your lifetime.  Spekaing of power tools, you and Rohin also are big fans of lead blowers. To such a point where daddy went and bought you both real rechargeable ones.  So the both of you love to go out and leaf blow the deck and the back patio.  You love to ask daddy to use his leaf blower with you as well!

Summer has been just great this year.  Over the summer, we went to Masanutten with many of our family friends,  we went to the farm and you also went on a trip with mommy, Usha auntie, Nisha auntie to New York to visit Savitha auntie.  Summer has been filled with trips to Great Falls park, Smithsonian parks, Sport bounce and children museums. I'd need to write about 20 pages to talk about all of these experiences and am sorry that I didn't keep up with the blogs this summer.  I promise we'll do better this fall.

In other news, you're getting to be quite the big boy now Talin.  You really are so incredibly smart and cheerful. You always have a smile on your face and you have this zeal for life that is just incredible.  You get so excited when we  go to fun places or get to eat candy (definitely a favorite for you and Rohin).  Speaking of these qualities -- recently, after a date night you got a bag of bubble gum and hid them in your drawer. The next day, you grabbed the bag and came to the living room offering your brother and sister pieces of gum.  It was so endearing to watch. You're very praternalistic about your brother and sister and always love the family to be together.  In Rohin's blog, I mentioned the story where both of you were going on a separate date night and couldn't wait to see each other at Chic-fila after not seeing each other for an hour. In the car you told me that you love Rohin and were going to give him a big hug when you saw him.

You also have this knack Talin to say things that are so sweet.  Recently, in the bedroom you were playing with the balloons with Aeowyn.  When daddy came in -- he asked what are you doing.  You answered, I'm hitting the balloon up in the air -- daddy taught me that".  It was really quite incredibly touching to hear you say that.  One time, when daddy had to leave and come back -- you told me when I came home that you cried because you missed me.  You have this ability to touch people's souls that are amazing Talin.

So this September Talin -- you're back in school again.  You're going to do great.  You really are a very good reader, great attention and you're very persistent to do things on your own.  We're very proud of you Talin and love you so much!
