Snow Storms and No Baby Food!

Well, apparently the worst snow storm in 50 years has hit -- on top of the almost 30" we already had this year. Total snow fall is in excess of 2 ft. This was only a couple days after we had 5 inches of snow earlier in the week. Daddy is writing this blog post from Los Angeles, because he traveled on business and all the flight were cancelled coming home. Mommy took you both to Ammuma and Thatha's house (see the picture). Daddy gets home tomorrow to see you all and to dig out from the storm! We're going to go play outside and build snow forts too!

In other news, you had a big moment in the last week of Jan. 2010 Talin where you decided you didn't want to eat baby food but wanted real food! You would refuse to eat and turn your head and get upset if we tried to feed it to you. So you went from only baby food to blueberries, raspberries, cottage cheese, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti, etc... You love to eat and enjoy feeding yourself. You also have such a wonderful smile Talin. Daddy was playing with you the other night and turning you upside down and you would laugh so much! You still are saying "dada" as well. Also, the big news is that we are working on getting you to sleep through the night. You love your milk bottle at 3am, but I think we're almost there! That means more sleep for everyone!


Also, we have lots of renovations going on right now in the house. You love to watch the workers. We had a closet moved upstairs and next week, we're going to have all new carpet put in upstairs to make it a big play area for you, Rohin and your new little sister who is coming soon!
